Days new - 3 months - 6 months - 9 months
Newborn sessions are normally done 5-10 days after birth. This is usually the best time for sound sleep.
These sessions are normally done at our studio, but arrangements can be made for an in-home session if necessary. There will be all kinds of fun props, blankets, hats, bows, ties, tutu's, vintage baskets, boxes and many other fun things to use as props in the shoot. Please go through your home and find some personal items that you may want to incorporate into your shoot. Maybe you have grandma's vintage washtub,
just let me know and we can incorporate anything! These memorable items can add that personal touch!
For in-home sessions: It will take me about 20 minutes to set up for your session upon arrival.
It is best to feed, change diapers, and have a naked baby ready for the shoot. Taking clothes off can disturb a sleeping child so it is best to wrap them in blankets. That way all we will have to do is remove diapers or add frilly bloomers and all the fun headbands and cute baby stuff!
